The Reeves Foundation has issued a new grant challenge to the Summit Park Line Foundation that needs to be completed by May 31, 2022.
The Summit Park Line ( a linear Park similar to NYC’s High Line) was successful in winning a challenge grant from the Reeves Foundation four years ago for 100k. Based on the success and the Summit Park Lines’s progress, the new challenge grant is for The Park Line Foundation to raise $225,000 by May 31, 2022.
Robert Rubino, founder and President of The Summit Park Line remarked “The Reeves Foundation was impressed by our achievement in securing the funding and construction of the pedestrian bridge over Morris Avenue to be installed this year. This milestone will connect the two portions of The Summit Park Line from the edge of Summit downtown all the way to Briant Park. The challenge grant funds will help with rehabilitation of the existing rail trail and bridges along the way”.
The Reeves Foundation provides funding for worthy community infrastructure projects. President Ed Reeves commented, “We are thrilled to support the Summit Park Line project, a great group of community minded volunteers have created a grass roots project and taken it from a vision to a reality, their persistence has manifested into a lasting gift to current and future citizens of Summit.”
We ask the community at large to please consider making a donation to The Summit Park Line to help us complete this challenge by May 31st.
