Out with the old and in with the new. The old rail bridge over Ashwood was removed on April 1 and is being carted off on a flat bed.
The next step in progress for the Summit Park Line is to install new pedestrian bridges over Ashwood and Russel Place, making a walk or bike to and from downtown easier for Summit residents in that neighborhood. The Park Line is Summit’s version of the “High Line,” connecting neighbors to neighborhoods, the downtown and parks.
The first new park in Summit in 90 years takes another step forward. Thanks you to all of our supporters and volunteers over the last 10 years for this grass roots, community project.
